1. How much will it cost to get a new lock fitted?

Our locksmiths will be pleased to give you a free no obligation estimate. Give us a call on
0208 941 8665 / 07962 011500, send us an email to email@example.com or

2. Do you charge a call out?
No, we do not charge call out fees between 8am and 6pm Monday - Friday. However,
we may charge a small fee for calls outside of these hours, weekends and Bank Holidays.
Our locksmiths will always advise you of any costs before the work is undertaken, in most
cases this can be done on the telephone when you first call us.
3. I have lost my keys / have had them stolen, should I change my locks?
Yes, we would advise that you have the locks changed just for peace of mind. In some instances,
to try and keep cost to a minimum, our locksmiths can replace the lock cylinders and levers.
4. I am locked out, can you get me back inside?
Yes we can. Please make sure that you haven't got a spare set of keys somewhere and then call our
emergency locksmith (it doesn't matter what time of day or night) and we will endeavour to get to you
as soon as we possibly can, usually within the hour. Don't worry about damage, in nearly all cases,
our locksmiths manage to gain access quickly without causing any damage to your door or
framework (non destructive entry).
5. I have just moved house, do I need to change the locks?
Just in case Estate Agents, Builders, neighbours etc have sets of keys, we would strongly
recommend that all external door locks are changed. We offer special discounts for people who
have just moved house and need multiple locks changed. Please call us for more information.
6. How can I tell what locks I need for my door?
Usually it's a good idea to start with what type of materials your door and framework are made of
i.e. wood, upvc, metal etc. Also check your home insurance policy for any stipulations they may
make. Ideally, you can contact our locksmiths and request a security assessment.
7. Do my locks comply with insurance standards?
Most insurers stipulate that all external doors should be fitted with a 5 lever british standard deadlock
or 3 point locking system and that all windows, especially those on the ground floor, are fitted with key
operated locks/handles. British Standard locks BS 3621 are kite marked for easy identification.
If you are unsure then please contact our locksmiths and request a security assessment.
8. I have been burgled, can you fit new locks and repair any damage?
Yes, of course. We can supply and fit all relevant locks and will carry out any necessary repairs to
damaged doors and frames. We will also recommend any other security products which we think
may be suitable in your circumstances and provide you with a free security assessment.
